Every single one of our clients pay a £30 refundable booking fee for an appointment with EVOLVE. This acts as AGE / ID VERIFICATION and enables us to put your appointment in our diary. There is no way to use any voucher you have without a deposit. If you have a free voucher, it’s still free. If you have paid for a voucher, you still need to pay the deposit. This deposit is returned to you after you have visited the studio. Why? We have to pay professional hair and makeup staff and a professional photographer for each and every session we carry out. For viewing appointments, we pay for a photographer to take you through your images. In the event of non attendance or cancellations, the studio must still pay for these services.
We completely understand and anticipate that our clients will occasionally experience unforeseen circumstances outwith their control which means a booked appointment cannot be attended. You might experience illness, bereavement, change in shifts at work, car trouble etc. When such a situation occurs, the studio will turn your refundable fee into credit. This means you will have banked £30 to use towards any purchase. In the event that there are no appointment changes or cancellations, you will receive a full refund of your booking fee (if not used towards a purchase). Please note your deposit covers all appointments with EVOLVE including the photoshoot & viewing. To ensure complete transparency, we will explain this policy in full several times, including:
- On the phone when making your original booking.
- Via your confirmation email.
- At the end of your photo-shoot when booking your viewing appointment.
Unfortunately, we are not able to book any appointment in the diary without a deposit and an understanding of this policy.
